Two ways to move to the Atlassian Cloud at a lower cost

On 2 February 2024, the server model for Atlassian products will expire. However, it is already worth thinking about whether it makes sense to switch to the cloud.

To make the switch more attractive for larger companies, Atlassian is offering a limited-time offer.

Cloud Loyalty Discount & Dual Licensing can save costs when switching to the Atlassian Cloud.

Valid from 1'001 users and active server or data centre licences

In order to benefit from this offer, your organisation has to meet some requirements:

  • At least 1'001 users
  • Existing server or data centre licences
  • Licences have not expired for more than 30 days

You migrate to the following products and apps:

  • Jira Software Cloud
  • Jira Service Management Cloud
  • Jira Work Management Cloud
  • Confluence Cloud
  • Atlassian-owned apps:
  • Insight - Asset Management
  • Questions for Confluence
  • Training for Jira

If you meet all the requirements, you can benefit from a great price advantage of up to 40%.

Atlassian is temporarily offering existing customers a special Cloud Loyalty Discount and Dual Licensing.

40% Cloud Loyalty Discount until 30 June 2022

For purchases or renewals until 30 June 2022, the Cloud Loyalty Discount is 40% for more than 1,001 users. The discounts only apply to subscriptions taken out for 12 or 24 months. Between 01 July 2022 and 30 June 2023, there is still a 20% loyalty discount on Cloud subscriptions.

Pay licences only once thanks to dual licensing

To make the transition as smooth as possible for customers, Atlassian offers the option of dual licensing. This means that there are no double costs during the migration phase to the cloud. The prerequisite is that the test phase is started before 15 August 2022. During the 12 months, the on-premise solution and a migration to the cloud can be operated in parallel. Only the costs for the cloud licences are due, which enables a step-by-step migration and thorough evaluation.
