In which function do you work at linkyard and how will your work look like?
Senior Consultant / Project Manager
Describe your background.
I originally started as a bank clerk 26 years ago and then went the way of an asset manager and economic analyst. That was also when I had my first contact with software development, processes and efficiency improvement projects. Of course, at that time there was hardly any methodology, project organisation or large selection of tools and platforms - you invented them yourself. These topics piqued my interest so much that I wanted to see what more complex and larger problems I could solve. That's when I left my specialised career and gained my first experiences in company-wide interface functions and as a manager mostly in the pharmaceutical industry, but also in trade, medical instruments, technology and agriculture, just to name a few. In the process, I have increasingly developed in the direction of strategy, processes, portfolio and project management for automation, digital transformation and data science in business and IT.
My last studies were in the field of business development and innovation, which I completed part-time, like all the other courses.
How would you describe yourself in one sentence?
I am a well-meaning, communicative and curious weed with a special sense of humour that only grows on lava soil and likes to bring people together.
What do you enjoy doing in your free time?
I have always loved being in nature, I am very interested in design and fashion, I cook and enjoy and collect port wine, although the collection never remains constant. I like to attend cultural events. I swing my dancing leg more in the sense of movement therapy. I love spending time with my dog, family and friends. Apart from that, I am a builder, an artist, a psychologist, etc. It depends on what I feel like doing or what comes up. I am an obsessive autodidact in architecture, neurophilosophy and material sciences. I have to find one again first, but I like to read books in old German, even if rarely.
Coca Cola or Pepsi?
I prefer ginger beer lemonade. Otherwise rather Fritz Cola, but as long as it's not Zero or Light... if only, then only with sugar.
