From business to AI, how our new consultant Angelina discovered her passion for new technologies

In which function do you work at linkyard and how will your work look like?

I am starting my adventure at Linkyard as an ICT Consultant: this position will include various roles such as Project Manager, PMO and Business Analyst.

Describe your background.

Has it ever happened to you that you planned the route to point A and ended up at point B? Disclaimer: B is no less exciting than A!

Well, that was my professional and academic career to date.

I originally studied economics with the aim of becoming an economist. Between my Bachelor's and Master's degree, I completed an internship at the federal government, which confirmed my interest in economic matters. There I was also recommended to continue my Master's degree in Basel. Which I did. Little did I know, however, that during my studies I would discover a new interest in new technologies (especially AI) and thus in business administration. Parallel to my Master's degree, I worked in an energy company, where I was mainly involved in project and process management. The projects I worked on were very diverse and touched on many areas. So I decided to continue my path in consulting to be able to continue on the path of project management. Happy me... now I work at the interface of project management and exciting projects in public administration.

How would you describe yourself in one sentence?

A good description would be a summary of my answer to the next question :)

What do you enjoy doing in your free time?

Uff, there's no particular activity that makes me happy because I like doing ten thousand things. The most important thing is that it's a new discovery every time. A new ski slope, a new restaurant, a new play (by the way, if you're in Cologne soon, I'd recommend discovering the musical "Moulin Rouge")!

Why is the earth round?

Because the pixels are so small that you can't see their corners.
