Nature lover and family person Johanna is our new ICT Consultant

In which function do you work at linkyard and how will your work look like?
My first work is planned to be as a business analyst, probably mainly in requirements gathering for requirements management. Nevertheless, my interests are wide-ranging. I am a quick learner and am open and excited about what lies ahead.
Describe your background.
I studied industrial engineering in Munich. I had our two children while I was still studying. So I learned early on to be particularly flexible in both my professional and private life and at the same time to be efficient and focused in order to juggle everything. Initially, I worked for an IT service company - also in Munich. There I was a project manager for classic and agile projects. We programmed web applications, apps (Android/IOS) and tools. I was also responsible for the continuous improvement of internal company processes so that they remained efficient in view of the constantly growing number of employees.
I took my second job at MTU (still in Munich), where I worked for the first year and a half as an IT project manager and introduced a group-wide project management tool. From there, I then moved to in-house consulting as a lean consultant for another year and a half until we moved to Switzerland (my husband is from Switzerland). CIP measures, RPA, design thinking (as a method owner).
In Switzerland, the adventure continued in an IT consulting company, which is mainly at home in the Microsoft world (PowerBI, Dynamics 360, Power Apps...).
I later accepted a position as Product Owner. This involved the final development and introduction of a new version of the company's own platform in order to meet current security, performance and technology requirements.
How would you describe yourself in one sentence?
I am cheerful, courageous, quick on the uptake and have a trained eye for the essentials and the common denominator. I particularly enjoy working successfully in interdisciplinary teams.
What do you enjoy doing in your free time?
I enjoy spending time with my family and our horses, spending time in nature and I am a passionate baker.
Why is the earth round?
Who said that? 😅
