Nicole, the new front-end developer

Nicole will fill the position as front-end developer at the end of July. In this interview, you can find out more about the new addition to our team.

How did you come up with the idea that you wanted to work for Linkyard?

Linkyard provided the perfect work situation for me and gave me the opportunity to grow as a developer. In the end, it was all the friendly people at Linkyard who convinced me.

What is your role at Linkyard and what will your work look like?

I work as a front-end developer, so my job is to create UI designs and program the visual aspects of the applications and websites.

What are you most excited about working at Linkyard?

I am really looking forward to being able to learn from experienced professionals in the industry and to expand my craft even further.

Describe your career path

After completing my Bachelor of Science in Biology, I worked as an environmental educator and adventure tour guide for 10 years, leading groups of students around the world. During this time, I discovered my passion for building beautiful UI's and returned to school to earn a second Bachelor in Front End Web Development.

How would you describe yourself in one sentence?

I would describe myself as a person with a very adventurous spirit who is always eager to learn new things.

Why are rainbows round?

Scientific explanation: Has to do with the fact that raindrops are spherical and are reflected by them like the sun's rays.

More likely: Because of the weight of the leprechaun pots with gold at both ends, of course!
