How the world traveler Andreas found linkyard

After gaining education and professional experience on an international level, Andreas is now joining Linkyard.

What is your role at Linkyard and what will your work look like?

Project Manager/Business Analyst Requirements Engineer/ ICT Consultant

Describe your career path

I studied business informatics for my bachelor's degree at the University of Augsburg near Munich and half of my master's degree in Berlin and half at the Polytechnic University of Valencia. During my studies in Valencia, I took on my first programming projects for SMEs, which is why I later founded a start-up in the area of web development and online marketing. After about 1.5 years of working independently, I then moved to Barcelona and Sopra Steria. Here I worked mainly as a Java Spring Developer before moving to Zurich afterwards. In Zurich, I worked in various roles at medium-sized to very large companies, such as Accenture. I was both a consultant and an IT project manager before I switched to linkyard.

How would you describe yourself in one sentence?

Funny, open-minded and a good friend with an always open ear.

What do you enjoy about your free time?

I have a lot of different hobbies: beach volleyball, bachata/salsa dancing, crossfit, skiing, tennis and I also enjoy going out with friends or traveling.

First add cornflakes or milk to the bowl?

Pour the cornflakes first and then carefully pour the milk into the bowl so that there is no mess (which I would then have to clean).
