A collaborative strategy workshop for linkyard

In our strategy workshop, we discussed current challenges and the linkyard of the future.

Growth brings challenges

Year after year, Linkyard is growing, we are always able to welcome new employees and record increasing sales. There is no doubt that this growth poses challenges. It was therefore important to us that our created culture is maintained even as we grow and that we discuss and consolidate the strategy for the future. In this way, Linkyard should remain uncomplicated, hierarchically flat, flexible and goal-oriented and solution-oriented.

Participation and collaboration instead of top-down

During the workshop, GL pointed out challenges and opportunities very transparently, which was followed by an open discussion, which was clearly the core of the event. Ideas were presented by management on the one hand and by employees on the other. Content included, for example

  • Explaining the past — why we are where we are today
  • Direction and Hell - where we see ourselves in the future and where definitely not
  • Security Awareness — Social Engineering and Credible Phishing Attempts
  • Scale - how do we design the growing teams?

This gave rise to countless ideas, critical opinions and solutions that we want to implement in the future.

The OKR teams as executive

The challenges identified and possible solutions are now being carried over to the respective OKR teams. There, the approaches are further developed and goals (objectives and key results) for the upcoming OKR cycles are defined from them.

Our existing claim “Driven by your Business Value” was replaced as it was no longer in line with what we did. With “We design digital ecosystems” or “We shape digital ecosystems,” we capture linkyard's DNA: solutions to complex IT problems in an increasingly connected world. And that end to end, from consulting to implementation, from individual tools to entire platforms.

The productive workshop was rounded off with an aperitif followed by a meal.
