Family man and YB fan Raymond is the new senior consultant

What is your role at Linkyard and what will your work look like?

I support our clients in the area of consulting as a senior, accompanying the design and implementation of IT and digitization projects. It is important to me to achieve maximum customer benefits and satisfaction with modern and realistic solutions.

In addition, it is also planned that I will support linkyard with business development and account management tasks and be able to contribute to the growth of the company.

Describe your career path

I studied business administration at the University of Bern. At the beginning of my career, the focus was on business analysis and project management in the area of standard solutions in an industrial environment.

I moved to the USA in 2001 and completed an MBA at New York University in 2006. Since then, I have held various management roles in line and in the IT environment and returned to Switzerland after 17 years in the USA.

Over the years, I've remained true to my area of interest, the interface between organization and IT, which ultimately led me to Linkyard.

How would you describe yourself in one sentence?

Open-minded, curious, hard to get out of balance, but never too proud to admit when I don't know something and someone else has a better solution and answer.

What do you enjoy about your free time?

I read all sorts of things, spend a lot of time with the family, enjoy swimming to protect my joints and back and am very interested in sports (Hopp YB and SCB).

Which came first, the hen or the egg?

The egg.

The dinosaurs and their predecessors began the whole egg laying process as a good way of reproduction. The hen (birds) evolved from the pterosaurs and came to exist after eggs.
