Atlassian Engineer

You support and advise our customers in the operation and in the design, implementation and development of Atlassian-based systems. You will accompany our customers along the entire value stream. This ranges from answering the initial customer request and preparing offers and designing, to processing the migration or implementation project, to aftercare during the operational phase. Together as a team, we ensure responsive and competent support via ticketing and chat-based support channels.

Customer projects range from relatively simple implementations to technically and organizationally sophisticated and highly integrated tailor-made solutions. You carry out software installations, implement new customer requirements, manage projects and carry out trainings. The tasks are wide-ranging and require you to regularly try out new things, do research and develop solutions. As a result, you will constantly gain interesting insights into exciting customer environments, from innovative industrial companies to financial institutions and government agencies.

Your responsibilities include:

  • Presales and customer support: Involvement in offers and advice to customers in choosing the right solution
  • Requirements analysis and implementation: Collection of requirements and implementation
  • System Engineering: Perform software installations and updates, troubleshooting, automation
  • Software development (if interest/suitable): Development and maintenance of apps, scripts and integrations related to Atlassian tools
  • Support: Answering diverse customer inquiries together with the rest of the team

Your profile: You

  • has an education in IT
  • enjoy learning new things
  • likes to work directly with customers and communicate confidently
  • You speak German very well (mandatory) and English, French and other languages are an advantage
  • You are flexible, independent and very reliable
  • Ideally, you already have experience administering Jira and feel completely comfortable in the Linux shell and on Windows servers
  • solid programming skills in Java are an advantage

Because of our fairly unique support organization, you are largely free to decide on your working hours. You choose your IT tools yourself and work from your home office or in our offices in Bern. Due to the task, on-site visits to customers are also necessary.
