From international studies to IT support: Kadircan is our new Support Engineer

What is your role at Linkyard and what will your work look like?

I work as a Support Engineer at linkyard and support our customers with technical issues, particularly related to Jira and Confluence. My focus is on solving technical issues and ensuring that systems run smoothly.

Describe your career path

I completed my bachelor's degree in International Studies at Leiden University in The Hague and Bilgi University in Istanbul, followed by various experiences in the private and public sectors. In autumn 2022, I decided to start my MSc in Business Informatics at the ZHAW. At the same time, I started my first job in IT Support for a Swiss e-commerce business, where I was able to gain initial experience with Atlassian products, in particular Jira.

How would you describe yourself in one sentence?

I am interested in many ways, curious and always open to new experiences and perspectives.

What do you enjoy about your free time?

In my free time, I enjoy sports, spend time with family and friends and appreciate good food. I'm also currently learning some Python.
